Yup…..I’m Starting Over (again!!)-Reflections of a Newly Separated 50something Year Old Woman

Well friends, it is my last night of pet sitting in Rhode Island…..
it appears I have made it through.

Tomorrow-I will be leaving Rhode Island …..without any items here either on the boat or in my ex storage unit-

and also without my husband.

I am fully cleaned out and will be taking a few items with me in my car. Today, I dropped another load off at First Baptist in N. Next week, I will begin purging the items that I have brought there, as I plan to sell as much of it as I possibly can. I’m thinking I might try to do a few little pop-up shops on the weekends…..And also bring a lot of stuff to some of my favorite consignment shops.

Tomorrow night, after attending an ordination service in Boston, I will head to Arlington to stay with my dear old friend G. We waitressed together in our crazy 20s and -thanks to Facebook -were able to reconnect a few years ago. In many ways, it seems we have been living parallel lives and I am very much looking forward to hanging out with her for the first part of this week. We will get caught up with one another. Also — for her to help me with some advice and share her experience, strength and hope with me. She has traveled a similar road to the one that I will be traveling now. It’s amazing how many awesome people God continues to put in my life.
