Walking Solo in the City- and Loving It
This extremely talented man was playing and singing right outside of the Copley T station today while I was on my “march on Back Bay”. I would describe him as a combination of Jimi Hendrix and Prince. He was blow your mind talented. I stood and watched him play for a while. There should have been a crowd gathered around him dancing. I could not believe how many people were just walking by and not even stopping to listen to him.
Why is everyone in such a hurry??
He was extremely talented. Like -I would hire him to play at a party talented. I wanted to dance- but nobody else was dancing and I thought maybe people would think I was weird. (Tell me again……why do I care????) It was pretty hard to stand still while listening to this guy play. I don’t know, maybe he is there every day and the people have just gotten used to seeing him and they take him for granted. But there were quite a lot of folks who looked like tourists milling about yesterday. It was a holiday after all. I can understand walking by someone who was mediocre but this guy was far from mediocre.
