Since I have been living the vagabond lifestyle in the last few months, I have come to some decisions about my stuff.

It has truly been life-changing to live out of what I can keep in my car. Of course, I also now have an office where I can keep my library and my files. That makes a huge difference.

I have been traveling with five pairs of underwear, two pair of socks and one bra. When those get dirty I wash them in the sink by hand, and hang them up to dry. I guess an entire drawer full of underwear and a separate entire drawer full of socks were not really necessary in my life.

I have been traveling with two pajamas. When one gets dirty I wash it by hand in the sink and hang it up to dry. I suppose that means my entire drawer full of pajamas and nightgowns is probably something that I also did not really need. Even if they are all secondhand and I only bought them for a few dollars apiece…..

I travel with one bottle of shampoo- which I use also as a body wash, One bottle of lotion, My deodorant, my toothbrush and toothpaste, my facial moisturizer, a few make up items and a bottle of baby oil. The entire plastic tub full of toiletries is also a part of my past.

There is something incredibly liberating about this tiny lifestyle.
